In an interview with Keke Palmer on her podcast, Keke directly asked Offset the father of six if there was any truth behind the rumor, and he quickly denied it. “No, man. I feel like it was a rumor, and I feel like it was something deeper than that. Offset went on to clarify that the fallout between him and his former group mate, Quavo, was much deeper than what the public knows.
This comes after years of speculation that the Migos rapper fell out with Quavo, who was dating Saweetie back in 2018 – 2021 due to being involved with her. The Migos trio fell out in 2021 after Quavo and Offset unfollowed each other on social media. Cardi B also recently revealed in multiple interviews that her former husband, who had been involved in multiple cheating scandals, had cheated on her with a famous female rapper who comforted Cardi in her time of need and showed up with flowers, too.
This revelation fueled the Offset and Saweetie rumor even further as the public continued putting two and two together online. Shortly after the Migos breakup in 2021, Quavo went on to release a joint studio album, ‘Only Built For Infinity Links’, with his cousin and third member of the Migos group, Takeoff. In one of the tracks, ‘Messy,’ Quavo claimed that his ex-girlfriend did indeed cheat with one his closest friends.
Saweetie has faced a lot of online backlash, remained tight-lipped about the entire situation by not confirming or denying the rumor. The rapper, however, did reveal in a post on X that her breakup with Quavo was due to the fact that he cheated on her multiple times. “Presents don’t band-aid scars, and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.“
Offset is currently in the process of getting a divorce from his estranged wife, Grammy-winning Cardi B. She filed for divorce in 2024 after continuous claims that her husband had been cheating on her. Since dropping her sophomore album, Cardi has gotten candid about what led to the divorce, stating that she felt the love ending between them.
The ‘Check Please’ rapper has since moved on to dating NFL star Stefon Diggs and made it clear to her fans that she did not leave Offset only because of the cheating, but because she fell into deep depression staying married to him.
Offset has since revealed in an interview that he would not get married again and would not recommend other men doing so, adding that it is just not for him and only encouraged men to do so if they are okay with changing their lives.
When asked by Keke if he regrets any of his actions while married, he responded by stating that he should have been respectful to the pregnant mother of three.
