ASAKE SET TO MAKE HISTORY AT FIRST REDBULL SYMPHONIC IN NYC

Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name, Asake is set to bring his chart-topping music to headline the Redbull Symphonic, for the very first time in New York City. For a one-night only performance at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn alongside conductor Glenn Alexander II and an orchestra.

The ‘Sungba’ hitmaker will fuse afrobeats together with amapiano, fuji, and classical music. The live performance is set to feature a live orchestra, reimagining his biggest hits to give listeners a sonic experience. “I’m excited for what it will do for the culture, and for my fans to rediscover my music in a new light,” said Asake.

Since its launch in 2022, artists worldwide have claimed the stage, from South Africa’s musical producer Kabza De Small, to American rapper Rick Ross, and most recently, musical producer Metro Boomin. The series celebrates the fusion of classical instrumentation with modern sounds, challenging artists to reimagine their music in a unique way.

Asake’s performance will mark the Symphonic’s first-ever New York City show, spotlighting Afrobeats’ global influence and impact. The Nigerian-born superstar has dominated the music industry with hits such as Sungba and Happiness, cementing his place at the top of the music charts.

Tickets for the historic performance will go on sale on Wednesday, September 23 as fans gear up for the Grammy-nominated artist to take the stage on November 8, 2025.
