Nigeria’s Sadiya Haruna, a Kannywood actress has been sentenced to six months in jail without the option of getting a fine for defaming Isa A Isa, her colleague.
The actress posted a video on her social media platforms which quickly went viral accusing Isa of being a womaniser , a homosexual and a bastard child. She also revealed that Isa wanted her to have anal sex with him.
The court hearing was done in Kano State in Northern Nigeria and she was found guilty on all accounts preferred against her by Justice Muntari Dandago and sentenced to serve six months in jail.
This is not the first time Haruna has been arraigned in court as a Sharia court in Kano State ordered her arrest back in August 2021 for sharing sexual content on her social media accounts.
